The V&V Leader will be responsible for defining, implementing and overseeing the end-to-end Verification and Validation strategy for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This role involves leading a team of engineers to ensure that ADAS features (such as ACC, AEB, LKA, etc.) meet stringent functional safety (ISO 26262), cybersecurity and performance requirements. The leader will bridge the gap between development and deployment, ensuring that all sensor fusion, perception and decision-making algorithms are validated through rigorous simulation and real-world testing.

Requierements:

• ADAS Domain Expertise: Deep technical understanding of ADAS/AD features (e.g., ACC, AEB, LKA) and sensor technologies (Radar, Lidar, Cameraand Ultrasonic).
• Safety Standards Compliance: Proven experience implementing and validating systems according to ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21448 (SOTIF).
• Advanced V&V Methodologies: Hands-on experience managing the full testing V-model, including MIL, SIL, HIL, and real-world vehicle testing.
• Simulation & Tool Proficiency: Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as IPG Carmaker, dSPACE, Vector CANoe and requirements management tools like IBM DOORS.
• Technical Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams, manage complex testing lifecycles and coordinate with cross-functional development departments.
• Programming & Automation: Strong ability to develop automated test scenarios and scripts using Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or C++.

Good to have Skills:

• Machine Learning & AI Validation: Experience in validating AI-driven perception models and testing deep learning algorithms for edge-case robustness.
• Cybersecurity Awareness: Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity standards, specifically ISO/SAE 21434and experience in testing for security vulnerabilities.
• Cloud & Big Data Analytics: Proficiency in using cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and big data tools to process and analyze massive datasets from fleet testing.
• ASPICE & Process Maturity: Strong understanding of ASPICE (Automotive Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination) levels and process auditing.
• V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) Knowledge: Familiarity with V2X communication protocols and how they integrate into the broader ADAS/AD ecosystem.
• Advanced Simulation/Digital Twins: Experience building or utilizing high-fidelity digital twins and complex virtual environments for massive-scale parallel simulation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• V&V Strategy Development: Define and implement the end-to-end Verification and Validation master plan, covering all testing stages from Model-in-the-loop (MIL) to Vehicle-level testing.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, manageand mentor a team of V&V engineers, providing technical guidance and overseeing resource allocation for testing projects.
• Scenario & Edge Case Design: Architect complex testing scenarios, specifically focusing on "edge cases," environmental variations (weather, lighting)and sensor degradation to ensure system robustness.
• Compliance & Standards Management: Ensure all testing processes and documentation strictly adhere to automotive safety standards, specifically ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21448 (SOTIF).
• Test Automation Oversight: Drive the development and implementation of automated testing frameworks using Python, CAPL, or MATLAB to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
• Toolchain Management: Oversee the integration and maintenance of the testing toolchain, including simulation tools (e.g., IPG Carmaker, dSPACE), hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) benchesand data logging systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary technical liaison between Systems, Software, Hardwareand Safety teams to ensure requirements are testable and aligned.
• Defect Management & RCA: Lead the identification, documentationand lifecycle management of software/hardware defects, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for complex system failures.
• Traceability & Documentation: Maintain rigorous requirement-to-test traceability using tools like IBM DOORS or Jama, ensuring all validation results are audit-ready.
• KPI Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as test coverage, defect densityand validation progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
