We are looking for a CAD/CAM Programmer - Sheet Metal Manufacturing to join our Design team at the Bedford site. If you have a strong Solidworks background and capability, with CNC production programming experience and enjoy working in a team, this could be a great fit for you.
As a CAD/CAM Programmer, you’ll play a key role in transforming design concepts into high-quality, precision-engineered components. Working closely with designers and engineers, you’ll programme CNC machinery, and prepare sheet metal designs using relevant software and will ensure efficient production through accurate creation of Bills of Materials (BOMs).Ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and excellence in every project.
In this role you will create, test, and refine CNC programs using CAD/CAM software e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD and TruTops Boost. Therefore knowledge and experience in these systems is essential. You will collaborate with the design team to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
To be successful you ideally have:
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 4:30pm, totaling 34.5 hours per week.
The role will Initially be based at our Bedford site, however will relocate to our Shefford site within the next 2 years.
