JDynamic Sales Solutions are a growing website design, development and hosting company based in Gloucester, and we are looking for a reliable and experienced Website Support & Developer to join our remote team.
This role combines technical website support, hosting management and website development work across a wide range of client websites and hosting environments.
We are looking for someone dependable, security-conscious and technically capable, who can support our internal team with both day-to-day technical tasks and occasional urgent support when required.
Working Arrangement
This is a flexible, remote, ad-hoc support role rather than a fixed-hours position.
Work will be provided on an as-needed basis depending on client requirements, technical support requests, development tasks and occasional urgent issues that may arise.
Some weeks may require more involvement than others, whilst at other times support requirements may be minimal.
We are therefore looking for someone flexible, dependable and responsive who is comfortable working on an ad-hoc basis and becoming a trusted technical support partner for our business.
This role would suit a freelance developer, technical support specialist or someone already working independently who is looking for ongoing project and support work alongside existing commitments.
Working Hours & Response Expectations
As this is an ad-hoc support role, there are no guaranteed set hours.
However, we would generally expect availability for support requests between:
Outside of these hours, emergency support requirements are very infrequent and would only relate to genuine critical issues affecting website availability, hosting services, email systems or security.
This is not a 24/7 support role, and out-of-hours requests would be rare and only for urgent technical emergencies.
We value reliability, communication and responsiveness during urgent situations whilst also respecting realistic work-life balance expectations.
Technical Support & Hosting Responsibilities
You will assist with the technical management and support of our hosting and website infrastructure, including:
