COSCO Fire Protection designs, installs, and inspects automatic fire sprinkler systems, as well as fire alarm and detection systems. The company also designs and installs fire suppression systems. Its target customers include owners of office buildings and manufacturing facilities; hospitals and extended-care facilities; schools and universities; retail shopping malls; and government complexes and military facilities. COSCO operates in the western US (from offices in Alaska, California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington). The company was founded in 1959 and is owned by Consolidated Fire Protection, which is itself a subsidiary of German fire protection firm Minimax.
