Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure Snapshot
Gentlemen, start your engines! Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure brings the thrills (but hopefully not the spills) of NASCAR racing to doctors, lawyers, Indian chiefs -- and even average joes, assuming they have enough "fuel" to foot the bill. The company gives racing fans the opportunity to race on a major track. Packages range from riding three laps in the passenger seat with a professional driver to 60 laps of actual driving at speeds of up to 165 mph (after instruction). Events are held at racetracks around the country (including Talladega Superspeedway and Atlanta Motor Speedway). The Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure was founded in 1998 when CEO Tim Shannon approached NASCAR driver Dale Jarrett with the concept.
