SUSS cleaning systems prepare wafer surfaces for high-precision manufacturing steps; lithography equipment imprints circuit designs onto wafers; and device bonders and other packaging gear protect finished chips from environmental harm. The company has operations in Asia, Europe, and North America. SUSS sold its test systems division to Cascade Microtech in 2010.
