Mission Working with our staff, customers, partner agencies, parents, carers and young people, Five Rivers provides a range of therapeutically informed, high impact, sector leading evidence-based services which deliver transformational outcomes – turning children’s lives around.
Description Five Rivers is a Social Enterprise that looks after children who need specialist care and education.
Established in 1989, our purpose is to help children recover from neglect, abuse, trauma or family breakdown, turning their lives around so they can flourish and fulfil their potential.
We are proud to be a partner of choice of over 135 local authorities and NHS Trusts, providing a comprehensive and connected service across five key focus areas: foster care, residential care, education, assessment and therapy and crisis intervention. With locations across England, our senior leadership team brings expertise from every key area of child care, ensuring that the needs of our children are fully met and respected.
As a social enterprise, we are a dynamic, ethical organisation committed to giving back. We invest in people, projects, research and training. We go the extra mile, making a difference to the children we work with and the communities they grow up in. We measure our success by the positive impact we have on lives, rather than the profit we make for shareholders.
