Our values are underpinned by a statement that is common to all of our brands – driving excellence.

‘Driving Excellence’ is about all of the RJTK Automotive team too. It is about how we drive ourselves to provide an excellent experience – for our internal and external customers.
Description RJTK Automotive is the umbrella company of Wilson and Co, Drayton Motors and Autohub.
The group represents FOUR manufacturers across TEN different locations and whilst the three brands have a different look and feel, their commonality is a shared company ethos of ‘driving excellence’.
In March 1998, Robin Wilson opened the doors to his first Vauxhall dealership on Moorwell Road in Scunthorpe, proudly displaying the Wilson & Co sign for the very first time. A couple of years later with the addition of the Vauxhall site on Hewitt’s Avenue in Grimsby, the Grimsby Market Area was formed.
This was followed in 2004 with the purchase of the Bolton Market Area sites on Manchester Road, Bolton, and Chorley, all 4 representing the well-established Vauxhall brand.
In 2013, Robin identified a future growth success story when Kia Boston became part of the group, then trading as single site Drayton Motors (now a household name in 4 major towns!)
In 2018, the group opened its second Kia dealership in Louth, which thanks to its early success is now in a brand-new purpose-built facility on North Holme Road. Further expansion of the Drayton Motors brand was seen in 2021 with the acquisition of Kia Grantham and in early 2022 a second site in Boston was added – with a new manufacturer partner in Suzuki.
Showing no signs of slowing down, the group has now also added a fourth manufacturer partner in 2022, welcoming Maxus Commercial Vehicles in Louth. In August 2022, Drayton Motors also became the new name for Kia in Scunthorpe.
With the addition of a standalone used car site trading as Autohub in Louth, the RJTK Automotive group has a recently launched web platform: www.rjtkauto.com, which showcases the growth and success of the group. Robin Wilson, RJTK Group Managing Director commented:
“Thinking back to the days when we just had the Scunthorpe dealership, I didn’t dare to dream of the group at the size it has become. We have faced many challenges over the years – not least in more recent times with Covid, and the fact that we have continued to grow is down to the hard work and determination of a team of people, who I wholeheartedly thank!”
“Despite the challenges, the last 24 years have also been rewarding and I look forward to what the future holds for the Group – let’s see what more we will have achieved when we celebrate 25 years!”
