Simplex Healthcare wants to be simply the best -- and the biggest -- among US diabetic testing suppliers. The company, founded in 2007 as Simplex Diabetic Supply, provides direct-to-consumer home delivery of medical supplies to diabetes patients through subsidiary Diabetes Care Club (DCC), a free membership club for those who qualify. DCC is one of the top three mail-order distributors of diabetes testing supplies in the country. Products include batteries, glucose meters, test strips, and lancet devices to check blood sugar levels. It serves mainly senior citizens covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance. Product delivery covers all 50 states, as well as Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
