- Slightly old fashioned
- Average employee age on the high side, you are fresh graduate expecting a fun environment, you may feel out of place. They are mostly rushing home at 5.30pm for family commitments.
- Most of the bosses from different departments tend to micro-manage. Meaning to say, they would monitor and track your working hours, check if you had skipped work, rather than solely focusing on your work quality. This, to me is a old fashioned style management, as they placed strong focus on unimportant details, indicating lack of trust in employees that feels like back in school.
For example, if you request to work from home or take an emergency leave due to urgent issues, the bosses show lack of empathy here and would question your absence to the very core, resulting in more demotivation among employees.
- Promotion opporunity seems unattractive. Employees that perform up to standard are stuck at the senior executive for a decade here (10 years, not even assistant manager yet).
