Life as a disposable commodity

Pros

You get to work in the board game industry and middle management is great. Additionally, you can use this less than ideal employer to form relationships that lead to better jobs in the industry.

Cons

Pay is terrible, hours are long, the owner and his family represent the lowest of humanity.

Pros

-Amazing coworkers who are funny, weird and care very much about others and their works. -Work environment is super relaxed (jeans/t-shirts). -Company deals with any non-electronic game related products (board games, card games, card acc., play mats, toys, etc) so you always have fun things in the work environment. (Nerf gun battles in the sales pit!)

Cons

-Pay is below industry standards unless you are sales. -If you are easily offend (don't care for brutal honesty or swearing), this place isn't for you. -CFO is not human: they are brutal, care little for employees that are not sales or accounting, will scream and tear you down in front of other workers when they feel like it (not exaggeration), cares only about money, etc. This person has HR under their thumb: HR is like a mousey-spy, will tattle on anything they think will help them look better to the CFO, regardless if the info is right or wrong. There is no HR here to help you; they only help themselves. Can't blame HR too much though, the CFO is terrifying. Note: Get a job in Sales, Marketing or Accounting (only if you can handle anything). Don't work in any other area - not worth it.
