Pros

Working with retired judges and lawyers could be fun as a lot of them had great personalities. Good place to start out of College if you are thinking of going down the law school route. Pay seems fair.

Cons

Small office politics, Owner is nice but doesn't see value in a good hard working employee, doesn't feel that you are competent or could get the easiest of tasks done, lots of micro managing going on here. Attorneys who bring clients in can be rude and feel entitled.

Pros

-Interesting work, every day is different. -Interaction with neutrals and coworkers is relaxed and community oriented. -No working overtime or from home. -Good job for exposure to working in an office environment.

Cons

-Management is not well structured. One person may be in charge of what should be multiple departments, this causes things to fall between the cracks. Or inversely, one person will act as a department, causing them to be spread too thin. -Processes, templates, and training are not the same across offices. -No transparency when it comes to late time deducted from PTO, or clock in and out times. -There are health and dental benefits, but the plans make co-pays and visits expensive out of pocket. -There are no clear job descriptions, this causes issues between coworkers. -The company is slow to provide resources needed or requested by coworkers and clients. -There is little to no recognition of employees for their contributing nor worth to the company. -There is no room for growth as there are limited positions.
