      Pros

      Good people to work with. AFCU cares about its employees(for the most part) and members. Great benefits.

      Cons

      Low salaries. Company spends money unnecessarily (automatic soap dispensers and drug testing) instead of paying more.

      Thank you for your review! While we aim to provide a clean, safe and positive work environment it seems we need to be more aware of associate’s perspective on how we respond to situations. At American First Credit Union, we don’t have automatic soap dispensers (though they’ve been requested) nor do we conduct random drug tests; we do however, make sanitizer liquid and soap available and conduct drug testing as part of new hire onboarding requirement.       weekends off were nice they had yearly picnics ceo was super nice and very involved

      Cons

      there is constant turnover, incompetent manager, he was just terrible. they don't have a secure way of protecting employee information, when brought up to their intention they didn't fix the problem they just swept it under the rug.
