Extremely toxic workplace and typical bureaucratic environment. Unqualified "yes" people are promoted to supervisory and managerial roles and above who have no business fulfilling those roles. Inconsistent treatment among staff and blatant favoritism for these individuals who are promoted. No training or support provided. Staff are left to learn the jobs themselves. Supervisor and management fail to train staff as they do not want the responsibility so they can blame lower staff. Everyone only looks after themselves. No accountability among supervisor's to management and executive team. Only favorite staff will be selected for extra curricular training. Extremely inundated and outdated internal policies and practices for staff. Streamlining processes are frowned upon. The same tasks will be done multiple times by a staff member but in different ways to create job justification for supervisor's and management. Managers do not want to perform their roles and duties so they delegate those tasks to supervisors who also dont want to perform those tasks and delegate everything onto lower staff. Very little accountability among managers and supervisors. They do not foster an enivornment of openness and transparent communication among staff. Miscommunication is rampant. They do not listen to staff and if constructive suggestions are brought forth you're looked down upon and reprimanded. Would give negative stars if I could. Would highly steer clear of this workplace. Pension is terrible. Only benefit is decent pay, good vacation but that's not enough to put up with toxic environment.
