Pros

Good area of London for travel.

Cons

Too much politics for such a small team. Lots of tension. Very angry and unhappy people. Not a healthy working environment for anyone. Confused offering.

Pros

The receptionist has a heart of gold

Cons

A bunch of scared people orbiting a huge, dark and embittered ego. One that bullies and crushes people. It's no wonder there have been so many people signed off with stress. A more poisonous or unhappy environment I have yet to encounter, which is all the more surprising since it's just a tiny place.

Pros

Some of the big-name projects are exciting to work on & you feel part of something big. There is a real opportunity to be a great place to work if they hire balance out the top-heavy structure. Their welfare manager, Hobie is great at pulling the team together.

Cons

Quite boring sometimes. Complex process of resources and long-wait times to get simple tasks done. Didn't feel very supported nor provided with any training- which can make even fun projects frustrating and tedious. And due to the lack of training, I felt micro-managed on most tasks. The team isn't very flexible with working from home. Some members of staff are over-stressed and take it out on others which creates a weird and uncomfortable power dynamic.

Hi thanks for the useful feedback, and great to hear you found working with AML exciting and worthwhile. Remote working has presented challenges for every agency and everyone in them (especially in training and resourcing), although a 94% staff approval rating for the way we've handled the pandemic suggests most people find AML flexible and supportive. Thanks again!
