Work from home. Good opportunity to gain skills in various areas. Microsoft Visio, Bentley Maps/Micro station, and entry level training for fiber optic networks. No customer service, full dedication to project completion.
Cons
Lots of uncertainty in day to day duties. Entry level position requires lots of miscellaneous work. Must have strong commitment to meet deadlines. Time tracking for miscellaneous work unreasonable. Time tracking system does not accurately account for miscellaneous work which could potentially give bad impression of time management. Accuracy more precise in non-miscellaneous work. Security is too intrusive and provided PC not powerful enough to handle day to day tasks as a result. Beware, company layoff could spawn without warning or regard to skill level.
