Thanks for sharing your thoughts and we are very sorry that you have had a negative experience during your time at AVB. We know working for us isn’t for everyone but you didn’t bring any of these concerns to us during your tenure, and we’re particularly concerned about your statements around junior members of staff being treated badly – perhaps you could reach out to us directly to explain this so we can understand how we have failed you or others in this area and prevent it happening again. You also mention a lack of learning opportunities. Everyone is given equal opportunity to grow and develop their career through internal mentoring and external training. However, alongside training needs we identify, we do also need staff members to be proactive in bringing their aspirations to our attention and identifying training opportunities that will benefit them in their role or help them develop new skills. We try to balance creating a sustainable business and doing a good job for our clients with our most important asset, our staff, however we accept we could do better in many areas. So, we are actively working towards being much more flexible, building a more open culture and ensuring our staff at all levels are always listened to and their needs prioritised.
