I am here to give you a very honest review in a simple language:
⚫First of all, they treat you more like factory labor than a software engineer. They have a very strict punch-in, punch-out system where you must adhere strictly. If you leave even a minute or two earlier, they mark you as absent. This is completely unfair because software work often requires flexibility in terms of time and client interaction. However, they don't listen to any excuses you may have. One very funny thing you can't be exit from gate in between without prior permission of HOD.
⚫At this company, managers do not evaluate your performance based on the quality of your work, but instead rely on a tool called Prohance. Regardless of whether you have tasks to complete or not, your manager will push you to fulfill the requirement of 7.5 hours of productive work each day. Essentially, they expect you to continuously move your mouse in front of your laptop, without considering the effectiveness of your work. They disregard the concept of smart work. Additionally, if you happen to visit websites like Google or Stack Overflow, or engage in any other form of internet browsing, it will not be counted towards your productive work hours.
⚫If you become a part of this organization and subsequently decide to leave, you will be required to reimburse all the money you have earned, including both quarterly and annual bonuses. They engage in a significant deception when it comes to annual salary raises. If you depart before the year ends, you are obligated to return the entirety of the increment amount you received in the previous year. This particular company is the most unfavorable in terms of annual performance evaluations. Have you ever encountered any other organization with such a requirement, where you must repay the entirety of your salary increase? Interestingly, their sole explanation for this practice is that it is company policy. I fail to comprehend why they would enforce such an unjust policy, especially if it leads to employee dissatisfaction.
⚫If you ask to work from home, your manager will make a face as if they are doing you a favor and they force you to complete the day latter on.
⚫Their leave system is also very unfair. If you take Monday to Friday off, they deduct 7 days instead of 5 from your leave balance.
⚫Salary structure is too bad, The basic pay structure is very bad here.
