Pros
I began as a repair tech for Absolute in October, 2014. I'm consistently amazed at Absolute's emphasis on quality work and following the FAA approved guidelines for repairs. It's great to work for a company that takes such pride in their work. Absolute has a brilliant R&D department, plus a hardworking and insightful Repair and Quality department workforce. Best company I've ever worked for.
Cons
Sometimes when we're fixing something we are forced to use obsolete parts -- there are better alternatives available, yet they are not FAA approved on some of the older units. This isn't really a flaw, or a "con" per se, it's just the FAA making sure repairs are done "by the book" even when the book is 30 years old.
