Pros

Initially (read- during my first month of employment) I got to learn a lot and the people around me were great. The salary they offered me was above traditional market standards.

Cons

Okay, where do I begin?! - The internal administrational structure is a joke. They appoint just about ANYONE as managers, and proceed to harass their employees with petty means. As of now, I can’t think of one colleague who wants to work there. - They are clearly not doing very well in terms of profitability, and there is a lot of cost cutting, which is alright. However, they are unethically firing employees who performed exceedingly well in their roles because they can’t afford to keep paying them (they do this by putting you on a 15 day PIP so that they don’t have to pay any severance amount) - They have a sad excuse in the name of an HR team and policy structure. - They will ask you to take ownership of your tasks and then proceed to micromanage you. - Vaping in meetings (with no regard for non smokers) - The so called bi-annual appraisal cycle will give you less growth than you would normally get in an annual appraisal arrangement (15-20% at max) - Since they are a self proclaimed fast growing start up, there is no automation (or intent thereof) for anything and pretty much all your tasks will be manual. - There is a lot of negative reinforcement in terms of how people around you are treated, so the general tone of the workplace is just sad. - No work life balance. Leaves? There are plenty as long as you don’t plan on availing them. Work hours? Not defined. Try and ignore a call at midnight. See what happens. Weekends? You can’t refuse to work. If you do, there are very subtle consequences. All in all, if you have another offer, please consider it. You’re better off getting as far away from this place as possible.

Pros

For me it was the peer group but they all left or got laid off by the CXOs

Cons

Don't expect any hike, inhumane behaviour of the founders, unreasonable expectations to even work on weekends. If you really think you are a good developer please don't waste your talent here
