Pros

Part-time agency, corporate style... Oh, wait - it's a con!

Cons

You will be heavily recruited, but then once you are hired, you will not hear from anyone. Maybe get to partake in cheap lunch they bring once a year. Beware: they do not accrue vacation - it is "awarded" at the end of each year. This way they "lock you in" and discourage you from moving to a different agency, unless you do it right after your anniversary date. They will make you "borrow" from your next year's award (although it should be accrued), but then will deduct whatever you've taken from your last paycheck if you decide to leave them.

Pros

There are no good reasons t work here.

Cons

This is the cheapest company on the planet. They give you a whopping 6 days of vacation time after 6 months. Year 2 you also get 6 whole days of vacation time. If you have to travel for them, the food per diem is $40 - less than half the GSA rate. Do not work here. Very wealthy woman who made it big and treats her employees horribly.

Pros

Some flexibility with work hours and telecommuting depending on the client(s) you support.

Cons

Janice Bryant Howroyd was interviewed earlier this year for an article titled: "CEO of a billion-dollar company shares her top 3 tips for succeeding early in your career". There's a 4th tip, "Negotiate the best deals possible with each company and let your employees take the hit by providing horrible benefits, little to no support, and low wages". Janice, that's great that you've worked through adversity to get where you're at today. But, instead of flaunting your wealth and success, how about using some of those multi-millions to assist others through their own adversity and struggles? Particularly current employees who are working hard to ensure Act-1 keeps somewhat of a good reputation in this competitive industry. I've been disappointed in the treatment of employees by both management and the company in general. It feels like they are more focused on taking over the world and becoming the "go to" agency globally if at all possible. Employees are an afterthought and expendable.
