Terrible Company To Work For!

Pros

Most of the employees are nice and willing to help.

Cons

Work Environment -- They have 4 suites scattered throughout the floor of the building. The building and suites are extremely old and run down. The whole floor and bathrooms have cockroaches everywhere! Micro, Micro Management -- Everything from a simple email to a note on a project will be reviewed by the President of the company. You will most like be scrutinized and put down for any minor impediment. You will be under a microscope at all times. No Internal Management Program/Software -- This company has no internal system in place for tracking or planning media. The only way to keep track of the data is if you do it yourself via Excel, Folders on their server, Google Docs, etc. Work Load & Pressure -- You’re expected to manage over 80 accounts/clients at a time without being able to refer to a centralized Organization Chart. Most of the requests you'll get are low budget with high pressure, turnaround and expectation. The production team / creative department work hard to complete orders but the mindset is “do it now and do it fast”...not necessarily right or quality of work. Pay & benefits -- Pay is hourly, you must clock in & out when you leave for lunch or leave early, etc. Health, dental & vision are offered. They do not offer maternity leave so if you want to come back you must "reapply" for the position (if it's open). Overall, this company is not a company you would want to work for. The President of the company does not respect you or the work you'll do. At some point, you will put on the spot and belittled for something/anything. Turnover rate is VERY high. I worked there less than a year and witnessed 7 people leave the company (one guy didn't even show up after his first week). Their serious lack of resources, innovation and structure do not make it easy for an employee to succeed or better their career.

Pros

They pay every week. If want to learn how to create procedures, you can become a pro here. Good co-workers

Cons

No morale, no creative valuable incentives, poor work environment, work for a passive aggressive boss. Boss can and will sabotage you by limiting your accounts or giving too much and blaming you either way. Always want to show you how you are wrong, cold person behind the smile. You MUST do and speak how he would, say what he is thinking you should say or you are not a good worker You will be working for a greedy selfish selfrigheous Owner/President. He will say you are doing a great job all the while plotting to fire you. The owner/President wants to be looked upon and treated like God (prepare to act unlike you) They have killer procedures which they create constantly- Memorize them or get burned by it. The owner is judgemental and hypocritical. Most don't like the owner and you will see why unless you work in web design they don't have to work with him everyone else does (Account Executives, Digital, Admin, Accounting). You will be micromanaged until you leave like many others or get fired.
