Pros

The CEO seems very intelligent and business oriented. Focused on growth. Mediocre and incompetent management makes sure this does not happen.

Cons

The office lacks any windows. There is no direct sunlight or fresh air. The air condition doesn't work most of the time which makes the office very unpleasant to work in as there are over 70 people in the same workspace. Russian is the inofficial language in the office. If you don't understand Russian it will be very difficult to participate in any discussion or understand what is going on around you. The company can't attract new and smart people. This is mostly due to not willing to pay market rates for qualified people. Most of the employees are 'average'. There is lack of any team spirit or social environment. The only time when people talk to each other is during lunch time. There is no recreational area or anywhere to relax or think in peace.

Pros

Great place to work if you’re South African.

Cons

I worked here for two years full time and found that my experience was let down by poor management. My line manager would sit with his feet on his desk chewing gum and then whistle you over only to bark orders at you. He would tell me off for not doing work over night. He would give me jobs that weren’t in my job description that I couldn’t do and more work than I could possibly achieve. He would casually swear at his staff and even once said ‘I hope they are dead’ about a worker than didn’t show up on time one morning. Many walked out before me until I eventually followed after being discriminated against in an annual review meeting. The company paid me to avoid going to court because I was guaranteed a win for harassment and bullying in the workplace.
