The company takes too much from you

Located in a pretty state of Colorado

They take out 21.60 for uniform maintenance out of every check, no matter how long you work for them and have had uniform and needed no replacements, you still get fees taken out and there is no maintenance such as cleaning or anything. You pay $561.60 a year and they just bank it. The uniform isn't yours to keep at end anyway and when you need anything replaced, it's all used and stained and gross.

It seems that there is some confusion about the uniform maintenance allowance that you saw on your check - please rest assured, we were not deducting any money from your paycheck for uniforms. In fact, we are adding an additional $0.30 per hour worked to help cover the cost of dry cleaning and maintaining your uniform. This is called a uniform maintenance allowance, and it's intended as a benefit to support you. You will notice on your paystub the uniform maintenance allowance is listed under “Earnings.” Additionally, unlike some of our competitors, we provide uniforms to our officers free of charge.
