Pros
They do great things for the Pittsburgh region. You can be exposed to a lot of good connections and educational opportunities through access you get by working there.
Cons
The work enviornment is very negative - most people are unhappy. There is not a sense of unity among staff, lots of personal agendas and bias' based on what department you are in. High-level management does not prioritize/recongize the contributions of their (lower to mid-level) people or fairly reward them for hard work. Promotions and title changes are poorly implemented - sometimes promised and then not provided. HR isn't really a trustworthy resource.
