Pros

Ambitious agency that's constantly growing, PTO

Cons

The CEO visited the office, shook hands and greeted everyone in the office except me. Open doors but they don't do anything about feedback. Even if you have the knowledge and expertise for new business pitches, they won't use you if you're not a favourite. Very much hierarchical but they deny it. Management has their favourites (typically from the US offices, long-time employees, white male) who get promoted every year or promoted several levels up in one instance and work on all the big accounts. Ethnic minorities are hired to meet the quota and remain in the most junior roles. Employees are kept in the same roles for years, with no career progression. If you want to work on new accounts it really depends on your manager's mood and if you're a favourite. If they want to fire you, they force you to leave by saying you're not up to full capacity or blame you for other team members' mistakes, and put you on the small accounts. Toxic culture - other employees steal credit for your work, rude and two-faced, work is dumped on the most junior staff, senior employees don't do much. Swearing to your face. Senior colleagues just gossip all day, arrive late and leave early. Hire a lot of incompetent juniors and won't train them to improve. Feedback is unwelcome and not actioned on. Shamed for taking sick leave. HR doesn't exist. Unlimited time off policy but you aren't actually allowed to take too much time off as they won't allow it. Wellness hour and early finishes are given as perks for completing internal surveys for best workplace awards.
