Pros

The Healthcare plan is great There are occasional meetings with Japan at night/early morning. But 90% of the time you will be there 8-5 and some weeks will be slow while others will be crazy) Depending on the team you are in there is a lot of support internally Pay is in the middle of the scale Electronic components are all the rage Stable work and business Hybrid Schedule (in office Tues ~ Thurs)

Cons

After the merger between Alps Alpine things are not the same... Alps bought Alpine but everyone on the Alpine side of the company was promoted and most of the Managers are micro managers. Alps Managers and several employees were pushed out in the last year or left prior to the merger. There is a lack of reasonable leadership and clear vision between both companies. The Alps part of the business was self-sufficient with employees largely being trusted. The company does have a solid footprint for the future but the work culture has declined a lot in the last 2 years Raises are average 1-3% and bonuses are pretty minimal. They are not doing a great job at promoting or raising the salaries of current employees. You are better off negotiating a higher salary when you start and expect minimal increases
