1) There are 2 types of offers: pre-offer, offer. They both are not equal to employment contracts. It is just letter of intent to hire you on the specific terms. Basically pre-offer and offer are the same, because in both cases they will ask you whether you are ok looking for a project before employment contract signed or not. But there is a small and important detail if you get the offer (like it was in my situation): if they start looking for a project for you and you, due to any personal reasons (you are not employed yet, right), decide not to have interviews, then be ready that your offer will be withdrawn and you will be without job. They will not care about your personal life situation, they will just withdraw it and that's it. 2) They will hide contract length and other information from you. If you forget to ask about it, it is your problem. It also says a lot about this company and their attitude and honesty to all employees. From what I have known during my work with them that in general there are only 2 contract length options: 1) contract for 3 month - for probation period, 2) contract for 1 year. They do not have an option for long term (indefinite) contracts. They will convince you that it will be prolonged after 3 months/1 year without any problems, but do not believe it and be skeptical, like in any bodyshop company, without a project, highly likely you will be fired after some period of time without any problems. 3) Incompetent HR. Unfortunately HR with whom I worked could not answer on some legalization related questions and questions regarding the contract. Almost everything would need to be find by myself even inside of their wiki (yes I had accesses to their systems without being employed) :) 4) Managers and HRs of this company are practicing gaslighting. They will blame you to justify the job offer withdrawal saying that they spent a lot of time, money on you, even if you are not employed for them (and they did not pay you any money yet!). In fact they spent nothing since it is their job and it is you who spent a lot of time and money on interviews with their clients for FREE looking for a project. Looking on such behavior from their side, it seems gaslighting is not the last psychological pressure that they are practicing there. 5) According to their internal procedures they have few rounds of preparation for the interview with client: 1) their specialists check your soft skills (English, self-presentation) 2) their specialists check your hard skills. Based on results their specialists decide which level of English and technical skills you have and will you be able to conduct interviews with their clients. The people who check it constantly change, it looks like they oblige employees to do that in their free and bench time. It is a short review of the Belarus based bodyshop company based on my personal experience working with them. After analyzing all this facts I am glad that I was not hired there and have not spent more time on them. So think five times before you decide to join to their company.
