      Anderson Communities is a decent career starter for those looking to get into Property Management

      Pros

      Work-Life balance: Work ours are typical, usually home by 7pm each night at the latest. Enjoyable staff: Most, if not all, staff is friendly and easy to work with.

      Cons

      Unstable management. Properties tend to change management often leaving Leasing Consultants working alone for an uncertain amount of time. Low hourly pay: Commission isn't bad but the hourly pay is low, leaves the winter months hard to manage.

      Everyone is a part of the big picture. All suggestions matter, not just a select few. Great opportunities to broaden your skill sets and discover interests you may have never anticipated. Team environment where everyone works together toward a common goal. Performance based with clear measures of accountability so your true contribution is clear.

      Growing so fast that it's hard to staff quick enough.

      -Great Benefit Package -Lots of growth, so tons of opportunity -Owner is involved, easy to reach -Lots of activities for employees - annual trip, xmas dinner, farm party, etc. so we can meet and talk with other employees

      -Fast pace makes effective communication hard at times.
