Pros

With several years before the mast, I’m obliged to say Applause IT presents a work / life balance sadly – unnecessarily - lost in many agencies operating today. Working on the premise that you get out what you put in and that you are responsible for your own work, you really can work one of the shortest working days in recruitment out there. There’s a huge emphasis on personal responsibility and that those working there are empowered to fuel their own success. This approach takes a certain maturity of character but if you possess that and a desire to provide a quality business service then the potential is here for you to take.

Cons

Lacks some of the resources of larger agencies – not to a point of crisis – but could benefit by some tools being provided as standard (i.e. mobile phones for all employees).

Pros

The Company Overall: - Great commission structure and lots of fun performance incentives. - Awesome people to work alongside. - Collaborative team environment where amazing CV’s are shared. - Directors who lead by example and inspire. - No KPI’S or call quota to hit! (As a junior the only targets that you are set are done so with you, and are ultimately for your own personal development and guidance). - Work-life balance. – If you work late it’s because your motivated to see results not because you are made to feel wrong if you don’t. - Really cool office and in a fab location. - Ambitious plans for company growth. Graduate Training Programme: - The graduate training academy is fantastic! – Honestly it’s not like other agencies who claim to offer training, but really have you resource candidates for the first six months. - This is an intensive five to six-week programme where the focus is totally on learning. The coaching comes from our excellent Talent Acquisition Manager, who teaches you everything you need to be a consultative seller, as well as a few hints and tips on the way . - Learning as a group really takes the nerves out of starting out in recruitment. - Day-1 out of the academy you are given complete autonomy over your work. However, you can rest assured that support and advice is on hand when you need it!

Cons

- Nothing comes to mind at the moment.
