Pros

1. Flexible benefits - you get medicash which is great if you're in need of extra money 2. Flexible working - so flexible in fact, you barely need to come in! 3. Clients - you get to work on cool projects but they are few and far between 4. Great facilities - office manager is fantastic in making sure we're well catered to (prosecco on thursdays, nice coffees, free breakfast and fruit etc)

Cons

1. Awful leadership team - ironic considering there is no leadership 2. Hard to manage team when everyone is working from home 3. Junior staff aren't being given the care they need to grow and develop so they're just sacked when their 1 year contract is up 4. Feels like a sweatshop, people are being churned out if they don't fit the mold 5. Lack of leadership with the PR team, no clear direction with new biz 6. Teams are siloed and there is a case of 'us' versus 'them' when it comes to 'old' agency and 'new' agency

Thank you for your feedback. We are really proud our flexible working policy and flexible benefits allowance and we’re glad that resonated with you. We are always striving to make work fit around our teams, rather than the other way around, and providing benefits to ensure our teams’ ongoing wellbeing. We are of course always looking to improve and, we’re sorry to hear that you didn’t feel as positively about some of your other experiences whilst working here. Our flexible working policy places trust in our people to behave as adults which means that everyone is eligible to work the time required to get the job done and to work from wherever they need to. We do expect that our teams support and collaborate with each other if they are working remotely, and so encourage all our managers to ensure clients are always put at the centre of decisions and client teams are not left unsupported at any time. More importantly, we’re sorry to hear you didn’t feel you could raise this as a concern, or that no action was taken to support you during your time at Text100. Like any agency, change is not uncommon, and this can often feel you are constantly having the goal posts moved, but we acknowledge that the topics you pointed out i.e. reward and recognition, are two big topics that need constant review. We have set up a joint Culture Club that plays an important role in getting our teams working together and breaking down hierarchies and siloes, so we are working on making Text100 a great place for everyone to work.

Pros

A free bar but nothing to note related to actual work.

Cons

- Hostile bullies in senior management (namely in the PR team) - Incredibly high turnover of staff (at least one person leaving every month) - No training and therefore no development as an employee - Flexible working leads to inefficiency and people not doing work required of them - No identity as an agency. Recent mergers have led to a company in crisis with no clear future of where it's going - Low pay and 'sweatshop' working culture - Consistent long hours (regular 12 hour days) - Everyone's far too busy and stressed to help junior employees learn - The furthest place from the 'best agency to work for' imaginable - Don't let the free bar distract from reality. This is a ghastly place to work so avoid at all costs!

Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry your time at Text100 was not the best it could have been. The company is not just going through a merger but we're building a new agency, so there is going to be some uncertainty during this time. We are doing our best to keep communication channels open and share information when it becomes available. Globally we operate a zero tolerance policy when it comes to bullying in all our offices and encourage any of our people to bring this to the attention of their local HR Team who can help put a plan together to deal with any issues formally or informally.

Pros

Good flexible working. You don't need to actually go in.

Cons

There is a cold, bullying culture particularly in the PR team. Leadership of the London office is poor and lacks clarity. Don't believe the hype about best agency. It is all smoke and mirrors.

Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry to hear that your experience of working with Text100 was not as good as it could be. We pride ourselves on our approach to flexible working - we trust our people to behave as adults and deliver against objectives - and that means that often you can work from other locations or different working hours. We do have zero tolerance when it comes to bullying in all our offices and encourage any of our people to bring this to the attention of the HR Team in the region who can help you put a plan together to deal with this either formally or informally.
