Pros

Nice office space, great coworkers. Nice emphasis on open communication and regular meetings for the whole company (which is very small) to come together every morning/week.

Cons

Terrible management. No W-2s at all, as in everyone is on a contractor agreement (pretty sure that's illegal), paid people peanuts, AND created a terrible work environment and feel on top of that, and then would pressure everyone to arrive 8:30am and not leave until after 6pm, which created a weird feel where you had to show the boss you cared, so you would stay as late as possible. Some people would still be there working 8/9pm at night sometime. Because the company is so tiny, the feel of the office is entirely based on the feel of the CEO. If he's mad, you're gonna have a bad day.

Treats employees poorly

Pros

Great co-workers, competitive pay. Flexible with hours, ability to work from home, if necessary. Great office perks.

Cons

CEO seems uncertain what he wants, but still expects employees to provide it. Expectations change regularly and without warning. CEO can be unprofessional during meetings, raising his voice at employees and dismissing ideas out of hand. Incredible staff turnover (terminations), because of constant changes in business model.

Pros

Flexible, decent pay, nice lunches

Cons

Needed more structure, lots of roles to fill and at times needed more recruiters than we had
