Pros

- Encouraging colleagues - A welcoming and inclusive community - Wonderful clients/students - You learn a lot of skills re: higher ed, interpersonal skills, and you learn to use a lot of software - Weekly meetings are fun and engaging

Cons

- Supervisors always push for an increase in student attendance at coaching sessions, making it feel like you work at a sales job. - It sometimes feels like your a therapist for students, even though it's outside your pay range. - You have to manage a significant number of tasks and there's not enough time in the week to get them done. - There are some additional tasks that aren't specified in the job description, such as "pop-up coaching," which involves tabling outside. Many students seem uninterested in this, and it might not be the best use of time and effort.
