Pros

Great, supportive environment that constantly challenges you and provides multiple opportunities to expand your skill set. Ample opportunity to prove yourself. Close knit team who are always keen to help, even the senior management are more than happy to give up their time for mentoring sessions. The tools provided by Arlo to do your job are second to none. From hardware to workflow/business process tools. Everything is efficient and of high quality. Management always make sure you are adequately resourced and encourage you to maintain a work/life balance.

Cons

I tend to take on a higher workload. Sometimes this means maintaining an effective work/life balance is difficult.

Pros

- Good Transparency, managers always kept staff in the loop. - Great Flexibility and trust in the staff. - Great company culture. - Awesome CEO, John Mitchells is such a great, down-to-earth boss who always takes the time to chat with everyone at the company no matter your position. - Great staff and colleagues, I became close friends with everyone in the company. Going to miss them heaps. - Solid, profitable software product

Cons

- There are challenges, as there are with any job. If you enjoy problem-solving then you'll be fine. Some of the product's limitations coupled with increasing customer expectations, mean you have to be smart and creative with solutions. - Can be hard work sometimes, but managers listen and help whenever required. - Differences in timezones of the three offices, means it's difficult to align schedules for meetings. However management has alleviated this by making certain meetings optional and scheduling meetings during overlap times.

Pros

- Took me on from a junior position and let/helped me grow through roles to become their prod marketing specialist. I saw lots of colleagues get to move depts, countries and roles too which was ace - Loads of autonomy and freedom to pursue projects if you can make a good case for them - Team in the London office was cracking, good mates and working with NZ and CA teams was good fun - They worked hard to look after their employees, lots of socials, good kit and training always available

Cons

- A small company, you're going to end up helping other peoples work sometimes (I liked that but I know others don't) - Offices in three very different time zones do mean evening/odd timed meetings but they kept it as minimal as possible (1-3hrs a week) - Their market is moving fast and it's tough keeping up with it but you can see the effort
