Pros

- The Australian founding company and concept. - Decent packages - Systems

Cons

- Sniper-like management. Very distant, with no effort to teach first and develop. - Inexperienced leadership. - Awkward, cliquey and flat culture, (strange for a start up). - A game of survival, which sadly is more dependent on personal opinions of you. - Quite naive to UK business culture, both internally and externally. - Resistant to change.

Couldn't be worse

Pros

You sometimes get to leave at 4pm

Cons

I'm not sure what's worse: the toxic management, the leadership ineptitude, or the Truman Show smiles. More people were fired globally in my time there than were hired or promoted. It's a churn and burn business with cult-like employee culture, underpaying staff being permissible under this banner. If you like working 5 days a week in the office and having many an evening stolen by way of late-night events (and no compensatory pay) then there are still better places to work than here.

Pros

- Great opportunities for growth - Built awesome relationships through mutual trauma - You’re able to up-skill quickly and have the opportunity to learn skills you wouldn’t have the chance to at other jobs - Really great passionate people here

Cons

- Overwork their staff to an unbelievable level, there is always a silent pressure that you need to do more, stay back later, or work harder. - No support, just throwing people in the deep end and hoping they swim. - Management have no ability to take on feedback and just keep pushing forward with the same ideas and values that aren’t working. - Zero flexibility, having an in office environment is great for collaboration but there is no understanding when the occasional life thing comes up. - Proudly have no HR and hire people “who don’t need it”. Again, nice idea, but in practice this means you have nobody to go to when it’s needed.
