      Lack of Transparency, Poor Business Model

      Pros

      Good real life experience to look around and discover that things are not what they seem. Management were good role models for the NYC cutthroat environment. Despite the poor execution of the business, management did a good job of maintaining an air of professionalism and positive morale.

      Cons

      Complete lack of transparency as to the state of the business. Complete lack of transparency with regards to employee compensation. Their business model will not succeed - it consists of being the middle man in the energy efficiency industry. Management do not have an engineering background and most of the company consists of sales people. Overcrowding a small office.

      Pros

      Learning experience for those looking to enter energy auditing industry

      Cons

      Don't expect to get paid what you are owed. High employee turn over rate. The process for energy audits is not streamlined which leads to employees doing things in their own way. The compensation structure is ambiguous and it is not clear when or what amount you will receive. Asking for compensation leads to them stringing you along for weeks with false promises.

      There is a lot of turn around in staffing and that will prevent growth.
