Disturbingly, the treatment of outsourced workers in the Philippines is highly questionable, as they are subjected to overwork and denied even the basic allowance of time off for family emergencies. Furthermore, prepare yourself for regular modifications to your role and responsibilities. The company frequently assigns new responsibilities to your role without proper consideration or preparation, often requiring immediate proficiency in unfamiliar software or tools. Despite requesting training, the support received is minimal, consisting of a brief demonstration by the head of business partnerships, with the unrealistic expectation that you become an expert overnight. There is also a lack of respect when senior management communicates out of frustration.
