Pros

If you ignore the bulshit you get one or two lessons in people skills. And how not to treat people.

Cons

I suffered a lot of trauma, manipulation and emotional abuse at the hands of the people working in this company which to this day I'm still recovering from. From day one you are brainwashed to believe that this is the "opportunity of a lifetime" and the only thing that will ever get you anywhere in life. They will teach tactics to manipulate people into getting what you want but while also using the same tactics on you. You will end up spending 24/7 with these people. You work 6 days a week over 12 hours a day. Because you arent on an hourly base pay you are told that in order to make as much money possible for yourself and the company you must spend all your time "on the field" therefore you have no free time. So by sunday your day off you have no energy to do anything. Majority of complaints or problems you have will be quickly dismissed as "negative energy". Even people in the outside world such as your family concerned about your well being will also be called negative energy. Therefore of course you should move in with people who are going to "motivate you" and provide "postive energy" in your life. You are constantly being monitored as so that you can't spread "negative energy" to new recruits or other employees. I know from inside sources that majority of the money earned from sales doesn't go to the charities you are selling but in the pockets of higher up management. If you can't do the job you are made to feel stupid and worthless and constantly told "but its so easy, its just talking to people". I was given criticism such as "if I saw you on the street I'd think you were dumb and stupid" They purposely target young and naive students in particular who are coming out of college or uni. You will be expected to show up every morning for team building exercises and training which consist of chants, brainwashing activities and talks. One thing to defo watch out for in the interview process is the final stage when you are told that that person monitering you is "so hard to impress" and how "special" you are. As I discovered later from talking to other ex employees this is said to everyone you aren't special you are just gullible. All transport and food you are expected to pay for and you will be travelling to far out locations and spending a lot of your own money that you are being put pressure on to earn back or you simply arent good enough. There are so many more things I could say but in short this is a cult.

Pros

Quick progression- I started in the company 10 months ago and I have already developed a team of 6 people. Quarterly networking sessions around the country with top marketing professionals. Bonuses and incentives such as cash prizez, trips abroad to other offices and invitation only Managing Director dinners. Fun working environment with like-minded, driven individuals. Opportunity to earn more through competitions and weekly awards. If you work hard in this company you will get to where you want to be with the support of the Managing Director, fellow colleagues and the HR and admin team.

Cons

Sometimes meetings overrun so we can be in the office a little later. Limited parking on site
