They over work you. They want to squeeze every minute from the day out of you. 30 minute lunch breaks for a full 9 hour day, any more and the team starts talking bad behind your back. High stress environment, everyone works in silence... awkward. Forget about work life balance. Most of the employees take their work home and continue working from there late until the night.
No training, no grace period, no easing into your new position. Day 1 they throw you in with the wolves. Its either sink or swim.
They "guarantee" their accounts a certain number of placements. So if you don't get them what you promised, its on YOU to get them coverage even though the contract may have ended. No one else in PR does this.
So many pointless meetings that require you to prepare beforehand consuming so much precious time during which you can actually call and pitch writers. Their formats for creating documents are long and meticulous. It can take hours to complete a document that would otherwise take minutes because of their ridiculous and tedious approach.
