Management is not perfect, but I do not put it down to the executive level management.
- I saw a review by a production support engineer below which describes the executive level management as incompetent.
- The issues came down to keeping staff who had been around for >5 years, such as this said production support engineer, who created their own clique and behaved extremely poorly in the office.
- Most of said personnel who stayed on for 5 years got promoted to managerial levels and failed terribly. They displayed poor attitudes and did not/were not accountable for their actions.
- In this regard, the executive management were guilty of loyalty to their long-serving staff when they tried to give them growing roles which befitted their salary. However, these staff members were incompetent and created a toxic culture in the company. They should have been told to leave a couple of times, but stayed around just to cause havoc.
- Because of this small clique of employees, a lot of potential hires/interns were lost due to having a bad experience with the toxic culture created.
