Pros
Great learning environment if you want to actually learn and advance your knowledge and skill sets. Great opportunity for growth within - if you put in the work and are dedicated. Incredibly organized, fast paced (good thing), and industry leaders in multi-family design.
Cons
Terrible work/life balance. Terribly tight deadlines (fine) with little support (not fine). They say they want to help but they don't when it comes down to it. You are just a tool to them and nothing more. They laid off the some of the hardest working employees because they made too much money during the rise of the pandemic. After two years of proven dedication and incredible work - laid off due to a decrease in productivity at the very start of the pandemic. To add insult to injury - they provided me a weeks worth of pay as severance - during a world-wide pandemic. That should tell you a bit about their management style and how much they care about those who demonstrate dedication. Also - once you're out of there - don't ever expect anyone to respond to you anymore if you need help, references, or anything of the sort. They just cut you off.
