Pros

The only positive was a few competent coworkers and being able to work remote (until they tried to take that away too).

Cons

Run for the hills if you get offered a job here. The whole company is incredibly difunctional and does not treat employees equally. They tried to change company names to Innomics after they were getting bad press for being China based. Upper America's managment run by Grover Yu is terrible. He's an awful manager who doesn't care about his America staff at all. They don't listen to opinions of the Americas branch, it's China's way or the highway. They will pay you the minimum they can get away with and make you jump through tons of hoops to get anything done or move up in the company at all. You're better off going to any other Biotech company.

Pros

It's a growing business; company has a great technology behind its core products; fast-paced geographic expansion; potential opportunities for personal growth. Great way to get experience of working in a Chinese company with international presence. Competitive salary and bonus structure.

Cons

Still building their plane while flying. Start up-like business maturity of business processes. Internal communications are not 100% transparent for non-Chinese speakers. Compensation package doesn't contain components that are common for their competitors (e.g., no cell phone compensation, company laptop, company car for field-based employees).
