Nightmare, but they're convinced it's a great place to work
Pros
Some colleagues were really nice. Friday snacks.
Cons
I was expected to jump into "full swing" with only a days training. My first week I was welcomed to "clientname-Hell" in a company briefing. A couple of weeks after I started a team member left and I was expected to pick up their workload in their absence without any training or a handover from them. Recruitment for their role didn't start until after they left; so I had to train the replacement too - very poor planning. I had to work late every Friday, usually until 8-9pm. No overtime pay for this. By the 8th week in a row it seemed obvious this was normal, and was a part of the job. I was expected to start work early every day and usually stay late too because one member of the team would complain to the boss if she thought people weren't putting in enough hours. Company provides things like jigsaws to do on breaks, but then gives you a hard time for doing them. Senior colleague told us about her excessive drug use in her early 20s during the most awkward business meeting ever. I could go on; the ironic part is they're all convinced it's a great place to work!
