Pros

Most employees are friendly however you always get a couple bad eggs. As with most places you get tenured employees that don't know that much about actually getting the job done and have somehow gotten by focusing most of their time on abusing better workers until they quit. I was a skilled operator that had previous experience and I made improvements to their equipment and workflow while I was there. One of the problems at BMS was that they had quite a few managerial level employees that didn't really have knowledge of how to operate the equipment and get the jobs done on time. They did take on some new work but that can be dangerous if you don't understand how the equipment functions and what time frame will be required to appease the customer. The main reason I left BMS was because the payrate was low. For the service I provided them as a skilled operator I was not being compensated properly. When a tough job came a long you could be sure it would fall in my lap again and again and the better you did your job there was just no reward or appreciation. Unrealistic payrate may be due to excessive tenured office staff, no room for trickle down. What's really insulting is when they then go out of the way to hire new employees that don't have verified experience and pay them the same or better instead of giving an essential employee that keeps your business moving each day the proper compensation.
