Unfortunately, the management are shooting themselves in the foot, so to speak. The "dirtbag" culture that Backbone is founded on is (maybe unsurprisingly) not fantastic at managing employees and company growth/decline. Sometimes to the point where it sabotages client relationships to the point of loosing business & having layoffs. I do feel that the lower 85% of employees are the ones keeping Backbone in business. Upper 15% need to get on the same page about the direction the company is headed and listen more to the employees who are doing the actual work.
