Pros

- Truly, there is no pros working here.

Cons

- Poor Communication: Lack of clear communication from leadership and HR, leading to confusion and uncertainty among employees. - Micromanagement: Overbearing control and excessive monitoring of employees. - Bullying: Instances of bullying or verbal abuse that are not addressed promptly or effectively by HR or leadership. - Inadequate HR Support: HR failing to address employee concerns or providing insufficient support in resolving workplace issues. - Blame Culture: A culture of blaming individuals rather than addressing systemic issues, fostering a hostile work environment.

We are saddened to see your review and feel this is not balanced nor a true reflection of the office working environment. A key strength of BR is the ability to service clients in a timely manner. This demands that the Team work closely together and there are clear open lines of communication to share information and ideas. Further, this enables areas of staff development to be identified and plans of actions agreed with team members to take them to the next level of their career. We strive to have a positive workplace environment and any lack of support for colleagues would not and could not be tolerated at BR. Colleagues are encouraged to relay any concerns with their line manager or other channels made available.

Pros

I tried my best but could not think of any

Cons

- Beware of the 5 star reviews, their management was asking select employees to write positive feedback on here due to overwhelming negativity. - Bully culture stemming from the partners at the top. You will be told off for attempting to converse with your colleagues in the office. - Extreme favouritism, different treatment for different employees when it comes to company policy surrounding exam failure, audit flexibility etc. - They treat you like schoolchildren. At one point, the receptionist was logging the times each employee was arriving at/leaving the office so the management could monitor how much time people were spending at the office. I have never seen anything like this at any other company. - 0 training and 0 progression opportunities - You will be treated as a minion rather than an employee

Thank you for your review. We would respond to this by explaining that we do hold weekly audit team catch up meetings (via Teams at present) for staff to provide two way feedback on job progress and to reflect on changes in internal systems and findings for which management can set up specific training areas. The office is open plan and much of what we do is collaborative, so conversations are far from discouraged. Those people that show an enhanced aptitude for the work will always be recognised and given the opportunity to progress forward quicker than those that need more time to develop. Our staff log is a response to COVID measures as part of track and trace, to maintain staff bubbles and record temperatures upon arrival. Kind Regards Barnes Roffe HR Team
