Pros
Wages wasn’t great but we used to use company equipment to do privates over a weekend used to give the manager a small backhander to use their lorries and chippers . Some weeks we could earn more doing one private job on a Saturday than we could earn in week for the company. Occasionally used to do a private job for the manager and we would get paid in cash that helped with the bills .
