Fast-paced environment with high expectations
Pros
Fast paced and challenging if that's something you look for in a workplace. Lots of autonomy and expectation to lead projects on your own will. The employees are all incredibly talented and passionate. There's lots to learn and space to grow your career if you rally for yourself. Staff discounts and allowance is very generous and several staff events throughout the year of high quality.
Cons
The business is rapidly growing in its business endeavours and sales but not hiring enough people to cover the additional work that this creates. Most staff you will speak to are working at 110% capacity 100% of the time which feels unsustainable. The annual performance and pay review process is poorly run and doesn't seem to hide the fact that it is designed to benefit the company and not the employee. It requires serious preparation and push back in order to be recognised for hard work.
