Benchmark has been a Dallas Morning News Top 100 employer in DFW since 2017, as voted on by our employees. We have a diverse employee population, and we have strict policies in place that support equality in employment. In 2023, over 50% of our promotions were women, and we partnered with the National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America association (NAAMBA) to earn their Accredited Social Impact Lender Award.

We encourage open communication and have various channels where employees can express concerns they may have, an open door policy, a dedicated HR department, anonymous reporting mechanisms, and annual anonymous employee feedback surveys.
We are passionate about supporting veterans and are one of the Top 40 VA Lenders in the country. While those items referenced in your review were voluntarily donated by others to the annual Boot'n and Shoot'n auction event put on to raise money for veterans, it is not related to our commitment as a business to our employees and customers.
Lastly, with regards to pay practices, we do review them on an annual basis to ensure that we are competitive with the industry. We encourage employees to speak with their manager or HR to understand their compensation plans.
