No Culture

Pros

OK salary, decent IT equipment

Cons

No culture. No objectives. Constant back-tracking. Endless amounts of pressure. Endless meetings, so no work can actually be done (this is because management don't seem to know what they want to achieve, let alone how to achieve it). Teams are expected to understand what the company is trying to achieve without any communication. Management ask for lots of data up front, ignore it for weeks, then make bad decisions without using the data anyway. Departments come up with their own priorities and assign them to other departments to make them happen. Lunatics running the asylum. You are expected to be "reachable" all day and all evening. Waste of life. Avoid.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on our culture. This is an area I am very much focussed on and am working hard to ensure that we have the right culture in place to attract, retain and motivate colleagues and prospective candidates. I believe that our culture has already developed and grown since I came on board over the last few months and I have many plans in progress to ensure we are progressing and leading the way for the future. I am sorry if you left prior to seeing some of these plans to fruition. Perhaps our paths may cross again in the future! Good luck for the future.

A warning to those considering working here

Pros

There are some nice people here, problem is they get used and treated badly by senior management.

Cons

First of all I wanted to point out that you will see a flurry of reviews around the 20th - 25th July that are of high praise. These were part of a drive to improve the company rating during a hiring phase - it is not a true reflection and just goes to further highlight just how dishonest this company is. there is a very toxic environment and absolutely no culture. I am very concerned for anyone joining. If you are junior or a grad you will get used, blamed, even bullied and I do not recommend, especially if this is early in your career. For everyone else you will be forced to work long hours - evenings, nights, some weekends - any hours senior management unresonably deem necessary. The attitude that you fall in line, do as I say or get out is rife throughout this company and is driven by the CEO and his minions.
